Demand for practical AI agent education is real right now — LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI have all exploded in adoption but their documentation is scattered and production guidance is thin, leaving developers to figure out failure modes, observability, and orchestration patterns on their own. The closest substitute is deeplearning.ai's short courses, which cover agents at a surface level but don't go deep on ops or architecture tradeoffs. The $1k–5k/mo revenue band is plausible but tight — course platforms at this stage live and die by launch spikes, and without a large existing audience or a strong SEO moat, recurring revenue stays low; certification adds some stickiness but only if the credential means something to hiring teams, which takes years to establish. The biggest risk is timing fragility: the tooling is changing fast enough that course content goes stale in months, and if Anthropic, OpenAI, or a well-funded edtech player ships something comprehensive, the addressable audience evaporates quickly.
