Git workflow automation is having a real moment as AI coding assistants have normalized LLM-assisted development and teams now expect the surrounding toolchain to catch up — branch naming, commit summarization, and PR prep are obvious friction points that haven't been solved cleanly. The closest incumbent is GitHub Copilot CLI combined with GitHub's own Copilot Workspace, which already handles some of this surface area for GitHub-native users, though the multi-platform angle (GitLab parity especially) is a genuine gap.
