Visual regression testing has real momentum right now, driven by teams shipping faster with AI-generated code that looks syntactically correct but breaks UI behavior in ways linters never catch. Percy (acquired by BrowserStack) is the closest incumbent, though it focuses on snapshot diffing rather than full sandboxed execution with video capture, which leaves a real gap for dynamic runtime verification. The $2k–15k MRR band is plausible for a dev tools product selling to mid-size engineering teams, but it assumes landing enough paying customers before free tiers from Playwright, Chromatic, or GitHub Actions workflows scratch the same itch well enough. The biggest risk is integration friction — CI/CD tooling lives or dies on how painlessly it drops into existing pipelines, and if setup takes more than an afternoon, adoption stalls regardless of how good the detection is.
