The explosion of agentic coding workflows — Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex — has created a genuine coordination problem that didn't exist 18 months ago, and most developers are currently duct-taping together shell scripts and cron jobs to manage it. The closest substitute is something like tmux plus custom tooling, or nascent features inside Cursor and Windsurf, neither of which addresses multi-provider orchestration or rate-limit handling directly. The $500–2k/mo revenue band is plausible but tight — AI/ML engineers are willing to pay for productivity tools, but the price ceiling is low if this stays a thin scheduling UI rather than expanding into deeper workflow automation. The biggest risk is that the major AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI) ship native orchestration and session management inside their own tools within 12 months, collapsing the independent utility of a wrapper layer entirely.
