Idea

A tool that scans your Claude Code environment (~/.claude) to identify what's consuming your context window (MCPs, skills, hooks, CLAUDE.md files). Users can see exactly how many tokens each component uses and selectively remove items with reversible snapshots. Targets Claude power users who want to optimize their AI coding workflow.

Why this is interesting

Claude Code's rapid adoption in 2025 has created a real pain point: power users are stuffing their environments with MCPs and CLAUDE.md files without understanding the token cost, and context limits hit hard mid-session. No clear incumbent exists — Anthropic's own tooling offers no visibility into context composition, and the closest thing is manually counting tokens yourself. The $500–2k/mo band is honest for a narrow utility: this is a one-time-solve problem for most users, so the revenue ceiling depends entirely on whether it can expand into ongoing monitoring or broader Claude workflow optimization rather than staying a one-shot diagnostic. The biggest risk is that Anthropic ships native context visibility inside Claude Code directly, which would instantly obsolete the core value proposition — and given how fast they're iterating on the developer experience, that's not a remote scenario.
