Company Brain – Centralized AI Context Management

Engineers waste time building custom integrations and context retrieval systems for each project. Company Brain centralizes all company data (from Slack, GitHub, docs, etc.) into one queryable vector database that AI agents can use. Target users are engineering teams and AI automation builders.

The explosion of internal AI agent tooling in 2024-2025 has created a real pain point: every team is reinventing the same retrieval plumbing, and the cost in eng hours is measurable. Glean is the closest incumbent and has raised hundreds of millions to solve adjacent enterprise search, which signals the market is real but also means competing on enterprise sales is a losing game for a solo founder. The $2k–10k MRR band is plausible for a dev-tools product landing mid-sized engineering teams, but it requires enough seats or usage volume to get there, and churn will be brutal if the retrieval quality disappoints. The single most likely failure mode is that the hardest part — keeping context fresh, handling permissions correctly, and actually improving agent output — turns out to be a continuous infrastructure burden that kills margins before the product reaches sustainable revenue.
