Glean is the closest incumbent, though it targets enterprise search for humans rather than machine-readable retrieval for agents, leaving a genuine gap at the API-first, developer-facing layer. The $5k–25k MRR band is plausible for early design partners but understates the ceiling if you land even a handful of mid-market companies with complex SaaS stacks, since per-seat or consumption pricing on vector queries can scale meaningfully. The most likely failure mode is the integration treadmill — every new SaaS connector requires ongoing maintenance as APIs change, and without a large engineering team or a Fivetran-style abstraction underneath, the operational burden quietly kills margins before you reach escape velocity.
