The $2k–10k MRR band is plausible for a bootstrapped tool targeting mid-size engineering teams, since buyers are usually eng managers or HR ops with real budget and a clear pain point. The biggest risk is that Codility and similar tools are already "good enough" for most buyers, making it hard to get prospects to switch without a genuinely differentiated angle that's hard to articulate in a cold email.
