The $1k–5k/mo revenue band is plausible but tight — hosting costs for game assets eat margin fast, and the audience skews hobbyist rather than paying, so conversion from free to paid will be the core grind. The biggest risk is that the major AI coding tools (Cursor, Replit) simply add game-specific templates and absorb this use case entirely, leaving a purpose-built platform with no defensible wedge.
