Persona.js – Agent UI Library

WebMCP adoption is still early but accelerating as browser-native agent orchestration becomes a real pattern, making a framework-agnostic UI layer well-timed for developers who don't want to bet on React or Vue abstractions that may not age well. No clear incumbent owns this space — existing agent UI tooling like Vercel's AI SDK is Next.js-centric, leaving vanilla JS developers genuinely underserved. The $1k–5k/mo revenue band is realistic only through a dual-track model: open-core with a paid component tier or hosted playground, since a pure open-source library rarely converts to meaningful MRR on its own. The biggest risk is that WebMCP fails to gain traction as a standard, leaving the library solving for an ecosystem that never materializes.
