Pyor – Desktop PR Code Reviewer
A desktop app and web tool that makes reviewing large GitHub pull requests faster and easier than GitHub's native interface. Targets development teams struggling with code review bottlenecks, especially when reviewing AI-generated code.
AI-generated code is flooding pull requests faster than review workflows can absorb it — teams using Copilot or Cursor are shipping more diffs but not reviewing them more carefully, which makes the bottleneck real and growing. GitHub's native review UI is the obvious incumbent, but it's notoriously weak for large PRs, and tools like Graphite and CodeRabbit are chipping at different angles (stacking and AI summarization respectively), leaving room for a focused UX play. The $2k–10k/mo band is plausible for a per-seat devtools product if you can land even a handful of mid-size engineering teams, though it requires surviving on relatively few customers, so churn from a single bad renewal hurts badly. The biggest risk is distribution: developers are the buyer and the user, which sounds like an advantage, but getting engineers to change a deeply habitual workflow — especially one baked into their existing GitHub tabs — is a graveyard for otherwise solid devtools.
