LangSmith is the closest reference point, but it's optimized for debugging and cost visibility, not chain-of-custody evidence, so the positioning gap is genuine. The $2k–10k/mo band is believable for a compliance-adjacent devtool sold to teams with legal exposure, where a single audit failure dwarfs the subscription cost — but it requires landing in enterprises or regulated startups, which means a longer sales cycle than the revenue band implies. The biggest risk is that most LangGraph and CrewAI deployments today live in experimentation phases inside companies that haven't yet been forced to care about this, making it a product that's a year or two ahead of widespread demand rather than meeting it.
