Emerging markets are seeing explosive growth in last-mile delivery through platforms like Rappi, Lalamove, and regional copycats, but connectivity and device constraints make cloud-dependent routing tools like Circuit or OptimoRoute largely unusable for the actual drivers on the ground — that gap is real and underserved. No clear incumbent owns the offline-first, low-end-device segment, which is the only reason the competition signal reads low; the moment this gains traction, Google Maps Platform or a well-funded logistics SaaS could bundle something comparable. The $10k–50k/mo revenue band is plausible only if sold B2B to delivery companies or fleet operators rather than direct to gig drivers, who won't pay recurring SaaS prices — unit economics collapse fast if the GTM targets individuals. The biggest risk is the technical one: VRP is NP-hard, and building a solver that runs acceptably fast on a 2GB RAM Android device without cutting so many corners that route quality degrades is a genuinely hard engineering problem that could consume the entire runway before a single dollar is earned.
