Why this is interesting

Cross-border DTC expansion has become a genuine operational headache as brands that scaled domestically on Shopify now face fragmented 3PL relationships across the EU, UK, Australia, and Canada — post-Brexit customs complexity and rising domestic shipping costs have accelerated this pain since 2021. Flexport and ShipBob both touch parts of this problem, but neither offers a neutral aggregation layer that lets brands mix and match 3PLs without lock-in, which is the actual gap here.
